Description Problem: 

For the transportation of stackable goods on pallets, the packaging units must be secured against environmental influences such as impact, dirt and water as well as against falling down on the pallet.  
Stretch wrapping is a very efficient and safe method. Here, all parts on a pallet are tightly wrapped with film. The tension and strength of the film secures the goods against falling and the film itself protects the goods against environmental influences.

Description of the solution:

Film wrapping machines are available in different sizes and designs depending on the thickness of the film, weight or small size of the individual packages. For example, either the pallet is fixed and the film roll is guided around the pallet or the pallet can be rotated and the film roll is unwound from a fixed spindle. Compressed air is often also required for the rotating element. LTN has been supplying slip rings, with and without media rotary feedthrough, for both applications for many years in order to ensure safe and trouble-free unwinding and application of the film in every case.
